I was having a conversation with a friend yesterday when she told me her brother, her only sibling, was a great husband and father, but not so much as a son, brother, and uncle. She felt bad for her Mom. I told her my theory of being a Momma of all boys. Its tough. Daughters and Moms have a special bond. They go shopping, do lunch, or just sit and girl talk. Many have daily conversations. Sons and Moms may not talk for weeks, but, when they do, there is never a sense of lost time. I know my boys love me. I know they are a phone call away. Do I wish I had the connections so many of my friends have with their daughters? Absolutely! But, I dont. I am blessed with my boys, Allen Collier, Kim Rizvi, J.p. Harrell, and Seth Harrell; who are Good Folks, who are well thought of, and who make me one very PROUD Momma. I am blessed with amazing sons who are great Husbands and great Daddies. I am blessed with amazing sons who possess a heart like mine. My precious boys are compassionate, generous, and hold their family and friends with much love. What more could a Momma want? For all my Gal Pals who are in the Mothers of All Boys Club, We Rock!!!
