I was having a perfectly good day today UNTIL I walked out to the mail box to get my mail! Inside I found what I thought was my normal monthly electric bill. When I opened and read that bill, I nearly had a stroke, $510.42. Now mind you this is for only 1 month! The Ohio Edison said this was an actual reading!???? After being transferred to the 4th person, I finally got someone who was smart enough to actually look up my account history and realize that something was indeed wrong. I read her the numbers from my meter over the phone and she recalculated my bill. I actually owe $167.86. But she had no idea how this happened! Something or someone screwed up somewhere! That is a pretty big mistake! Before she recalculated my bill ( based on the numbers I read to her off of my meter) I told her just to send someone to shut off my power because I have no intention of ever paying a $5oo.oo plus electric bill. What in the world is happening?!
