I was having a super cool time with my best friend earlier over breakfast . And I re-opened a song I really like and we were listening to it while munching away on our food . I was actually also watching the video of this ohsem soundtrack . And my blood ran cold ..... I almost choked ! I immediately stopped eating . You see , this video had some rather suggestive images from the movie , 50 Shades of Grey . Now , I barely made it past the first three chapters of the book because I felt it was too gruesome ... I have had 2 serious relationships involving sadomasochism (both were with men , surprise surprise ... not) . And that book , in my opinion , was not about S&M at all . I felt it was about brutality , control , manipulation , domination , rape , stalking ... in short , everything un-safe , dangerous and totally what S&M is NOT about ... So , last night , without actually watching the video , I forwarded what was supposed to be an ohsem song ... and totally didnt see the images that accompanied it ... to the love of my life ! *gasp* I cannot imagine what was going thru her mind when she opened up the video today and watched it ! **sharp intake of breath** Note to self ..... Next time , please watch video first before sending it to someone . I might be sending out the wrooooong message otherwise ! Clever Mariza ... Sigh ... **yikes**
