I was hoping this would get more attention here. Please I need help and advice for a friend urgently. Am at work and a very good friend of mine called me (though of late I have been encouraging her as she told me of her marital squabbles with her husband which includes infidelity, maltreatment, abuse both verbal and physical) but the call I just got from her 5min ago has put me on tetherhooks and truth be told,am confused. She has 3 kids and has been married for like 6 yrs now and she said she said trouble started like 3years ago when they had finacial breakthrough as she started noticing his strange behaviour and the chats and messages from different women and he had to confront him when he saw a msg from a woman wishing themselves (d other lady)happy 1year in love and she was shocked and called d lady who was equally shocked to learn that he was married with 2kids then and he apologised that it was d devil.and after some weeks he was back to the habit. The crux of the matter now is she called me this morning that she is completely tired of life and wish she can die and leave this world but the only thing holding her is her kids. she pratically has no where to go as her siblings are struggling to make ends meet and her mom is in the villa...she cried so hard that it broke my heart to tiny fragments and am at a loss on what to tell her. A colleague at work that saw me cryin afterwards said she ahould move out to kip her sanity but she doesnt even have a dime to her name as every money she gets is taken by him as he have access to her atm.she wants to work but he doesnt want to hear of it and evn had to go and disgrace her out of the sch she was teaching at (d sch pay was miserable but she didnt mind).now she seats at home all day brooding as he sometimes locks her in the house when she says she wants to go and look for a job. Pls moms, I dont know what to say to her or what to do.
