I was in Dicks yesterday at the Beaver Valley Mall. Joey and I - TopicsExpress

I was in Dicks yesterday at the Beaver Valley Mall. Joey and I had gone to Panera for dinner. I now have another apple in my fridge from Panera, movies, and in between the mall. He was looking for a bike or looking at them so I showed him the Diamond Back ones David and I got. Good thing I took pics of our bikes at Moraine so I could draw up our bikes in my iphone and compare and make sure was same ones. So, this young guy, a worker, comes over to us. We told him that Joey was looking not purchasing today but thinking about one and the Diamond Backs are really nice bikes; they are 300.00 dollar bikes and made nice, high quality. He says to us, well, I work until 7 and I know a lot about bikes. I race bikes so I will hang here and you can ask me anything you want. So, he starts talking about quality of bikes and what makes a good bike and what does not. Then, I start talking about bike trails and Moraine. The guy was named Mike and he says, yes, Moraine is really nice, some gradual hills, very pretty scenery, can look at the water and the boats. Now, some trails are just dirt and nothing much to see. I then said, you know I went on one side of the Montour trail and it had gun shooting places, was not wild about that, want to see other side. He then says, the other side is nice for a few miles but it turns into dirt roads, so guess that is probably the reason we just never seem to go there, not supposed to. Then, I started talking about geocaching. Turns out he knows what that is and did it too and he hid one called Hole in the Wall on a 4-wheeler trail. I said, you know what, I have found 200 of those darn things and I did go to that one. Is it in Monaca, near the Turners down a big hill near a creek? Yeah. I said, you know what we did try to find that, never did find it. We ended up in someones yard where we did not belong. Our GPS went crazy and took us all over the place. That one got to feel a little dangerous and we quit. I told him you know, this game used to be fun but then everyone starting hiding them everywhere. They used to be on nice trails and now they are on sides of highways. People only care if they found 1000 of them and you can go eat ice cream and look under your chair and find a metal thing stuck to a seat and find a code and then you got to worry a cop wont stop you and ask what the heck you are doing or in a pole in a place of business where you should not be snooping around in the first place and one time, I found one on a rock in a wall and it had a fake mouse on it and I almost had a heart attack so I QUIT!!! He was fun to talk to; he knew a lot of interesting things!! I thanked him for the cool conversation!!!
