I was in Trader Joes parking lot backing into a space when I saw this car was backing toward my car and the driver was not looking...I honked and honked and found out he could not hear me...Bam! he broadsided my 30 year old Volvo...Not too hard fortunately and my car is made of steel so no real damage. I parked and so did he, He asked me if I was OK I asked him if he was OK and then a talked to him a bit about looking and listening and wished him safe travels and gave him a hug and wished him a Happy New Year...He was speechless and smiling on his way...As I walked into the store a young man took me aside and said I saw what you did and you are so sweet to hug him Most people jump out of their cars yelling and irate... what a wonderful sight it was to see...I told him it was already a difficult situation so why make it worse, no one wants to get in an accident. I told him that witnessing a good deed is healing and being acknowledged warmed my heart and I tanked him and hugged him and we wished each other a happy New year with tears of joy in our eyes...this was one of the Happiest moments of the year My fender bender at TJs...So I hope the world feels this special seed and it grows with the essence of 2015...My new years Happy meal...Joy and blessings to all...Lauri Love...
