I was in a chat with a friend and he lamented on how confused Nigerians will most likely be. This he said given the way the opposition is challenging the presidency for the current insecurity in the North Eastern Nigeria and the way the presidency is fighting back will throw the masses in utter confusion. What I told him is that everything is an intra-class conflict necessary for the survival of the most powerful. Its a clear revolutionary signal when the ruling elites began to split and re-split. On the other hand, the masses are saying no to subsidy withdrawal which the entire 36 governors insists must be removed. The intensification of this class struggle is emminent! When they assembled millions and squeezed 1000 naira out of each of them there was not discrimination. Whether you are card carrying member of APC, PDP, EFCC, INEC, APGA, PDM, or whatever, that has not stopped them from operating a system that killed scores of lifes among which are Hausas, Igbos, Yorubas, Christians, Muslims or anything you are identified with. These are same guys that collectively agreed that the tax payer must pay more or else he should go and die! The rulling elites are in serious crises which they believed you must pay for and thus loaded everything on you to create a diversion. A time to organise and treat their case as elements/subsets of a universal set.
