I was in a junior chemistry class at the junior high school in Raynham, MA. The shock on our faces as it exploded and the instant grief on the interpreter and teachers faces are not something I could forget. The whole school was somber for the rest of the day, with teachers whispering news to each other of the death confirmation. The teachers in the deaf classroom explained it to us when the news of the dead was confirmed. My little sister was 3, and she saw it on TV at her babysitters house, and told Nana that all those people were dead. I think pretty much everyone that was able was watching it live. It was an exciting event, until it turned tragic.
