I was in a particular store today that started playing rap music chock-full of every cuss word they could seemingly think to insert. I asked the owner to change the station and they opted to turn off the music entirely. A fellow customer became angry and informed me that she was actually enjoying the song, and felt I had no right to ask for the music to be changed to suit my preferences. She was quickly informed that where I drop a dollar dictates the music that I listen to. The store owner had the right to continue playing what they had on, and I wouldve exercised my right to leave. Too often Christians are afraid to speak up for fear of insulting someone or hurting someones feelings. But at what cost? Draw your line in the sand, and dont erase it and redraw it based upon the pressures of conforming to people who dont share the same belief system as you do. #LethiaWooten
