I was in a restaurant yesterday, with two friends, when a tick came crawling out of my hair across my forehead. Lots of ticks this year, already. The fire ants appeared in my garden two years ago and are right now layin claim to a whole bed. I saw at least twelve copperheads last year, and have already seen one this year. I hate to say it, but I think/feel/intuit/know, that lots of things that have been relatively minor irritants to humans, such as ticks, fleas, bed bugs, spiders, fire ants, allergies, colds, flu, poisonous snakes, and lots of things that havent been so minor, such as severe storms, drought, wind, tornadoes, floods, intense heat, severe cold, hurricanes, Lyme Disease, etc. are all becoming more common due to climate change, what will become, the great equalizer, the path we humans have collectively chosen, to learn humility, gratitude, and Respect. It is a good journey we are all on together.
