I was in the Air Force for 22 years, most of that time was earning less than minimum wage and working 50+ hours a week. I was also on wic and qualified for other government programs. When I got out I was barely paid enough to make it, my entire family worked to clean the church and do the yard (4 archers) every weekend for four years to just make it. I dont have much, but what we do have we worked hard for and sacrificed. Im in my 40s and just now am earning my degrees because there was no time for education for the first 25+ years. Im not ignorant to work and sacrifice and what it means to have little.
