I was in the Belle Library along with my friends Mark Faulk and Nair Rodriguez, whos husband was killed by Moore, Oklahoma Police on February 14, 2014. We were discussing the tragic moment which transpired that fateful day that she witnessed the police using excessive and unreasonable force to subdue her husband. On December 13, at 2:00 p.m., Mrs. Rodriguez will share her horrific story at the state Capitol here in Oklahoma City. As painful as it was for Mrs. Rodriguez to observe the officers killing her husband and his lying out in the parking lot unresponsive, coupled with her shouting out repeatedly for the officers to go easy on her husband, I can say she is a strong and determined woman who vows to get justice for her husband, herself and her family. We will also highlight the brutal killings of teenager Mike Brown and Eric Garner and the grand jurys decisions to not indict either officer in those tragic incidents. We encourage each of you to come out an support this cause and please bring someone with you.
