I was in the hospital for the last couple of days on a bed that was at least sixty years old if it was a day! I wondered as this bed still worked as advertised how many things made today will not even last two years. Most beds are done by ten these days yet this old dinosaur that was older than me was still serving patients. Our truly amaese days is takking us backward instead of forward. Everthing should be lasting ten times longer than it does. All this talk about trash and global warming is just talk until we start demamding the true quality products that will last. right now companies are making "energy efficent" lightbulbs that purposefully create the het of a regular light bulb for no ther reason than to use more energy than t has too and to cause it to fail sooner nessecitating throwaway and replacement. The big companies care NOTHING about our welfare as himan beings nor our planet as they claim and I dare them to live up to the technology available today to build pridut that last so that we can preserve this little rock we call EARTH!
