I was in the shower, getting ready for work when I began to reflect on the blessings on my life and many times, I look at what I lack instead of what I have received. Too many times I have failed in the area of thankfulness and have made the easier choice to complain and whine. What does that acheive in my life. More angst and anxiety. Forgive me Lord for my ungrateful heart and my lack of thanksgiving.because I could be in a worse situation. I could be battling a illness. I could be homeless. I could be in a prision cell. I could be in a much worse state. Thank you sovereign Lord that you have me in the place you have me. Thank you for the blessings you have given me and help me with having a constant attitude of gratitude.even when things are hard and dont go my way. Amen.
