I was in town yesterday grocery shopping for the Mahogany Hall Luxury Boutique Resort and Mr. Greedys Pizzeria and I am noticing a trend. Guatemalan wholesalers selling here and Guatemalan cattlemen here buying Mexican products wholesale to take back across. The cattlemen`s pick up I recognized from them going through the back road to Guatemala. Both drove vehicles with Guatemalan plates. Now I do not have anything against free trade. But this seems to be a free for all/anything goes. Then too I am left wondering do they have insurance here in Belize? Accidents? Then when I watch the cattle vehicle and all the cow manure, I am left wondering about diseases being carried back and forth?
