I was informed earlier tonight that a sweet friend of mine passed away. None of us knew he was dying. He went into the hospital a few days ago. Today he closed his eyes for the final time. Ejup told me, for I am at work. Our friend was a really sweet man. He gave me a book, it is Albanian, but translated to English. I think it is from Kosovo, where Ejup is from. He said it was important for me to read. This was months ago-I am going to read it now. (Goodbye Dear-And thank you.) He had no one left at all, a brother in England. A cousin in Albania. A few friends here. His body will be flown home-He lived quite the life. He was in politics, and arrested as a political prisoner of some kind, and all sorts of things-It is hard to imagine that it ends now. What a life he lived. I think he just exhausted himself.
