I was inspired to share a story by a post I saw on FB. Moral: Dont judge others, for you have no idea what their journey is in life. (Ty auntie for post) I was at work, it was after 5pm & we had stopped serving lunch. A lady & her husband came in and began to order off lunch menu. I said, Im so sorry, but we stop serving lunch at 5... & before I could finish my sentence, explaining some options, she began giving me quite an earful of complaining. I wanted to smack her...lol.. Instead, I let her finish & then I began telling her some lunch options. At that time, Russells had 2 locations, the other serving dinner. So, the next day she & her husband came back in. This time, she walked up to me with tears forming in her eyes & said, I wanted to thank you so much for your patience with me yesterday, I know I was very unpleasant to you. We were in the hospital all day with one of our twin girls whose brain tumor had come back. We hadnt eaten all day & we wanted to thank you for referring us to the bistro..........etc, etc So, this made me realize the above moral: Dont judge others! Some days I forget & some days you might forget, but if we can, try to remember; that person in front of you, that you might want to strangle, 😏 might be in some kind of pain. And, if we reach out & just smile or just be patient, it will probably make an amazing difference in both your lives. I know it has for me, on more than one occasion.
