I was introduced to Dan at Camp Opportunity recently and was so excited about what he is doing. His organization started as a one week overnight camp for neglected and abused children and over the years has worked towards being a year round program and resource for Maryland’s At-Risk youth. Our campaign is for this one week camp that gives a child a chance to forget about what might be taking place at home or foster care and see and feel that someone cares.
