I was introduced to a study while in college and as a means of continued learning, Ive also been listening to lectures showing how human decisions have caused our planet, and now the universe, to react violently. Tsunamis, hurricanes, and earthquakes are natures disapproval of mankinds decisions to use the planets resources to build a world that fuels his lust for greed and power with very little consideration to the negative impacts on how we treat each other, animals, land and water. Senseless wars, the slaughtering of animals, and the destruction of the land and water have been the seeds sown into the universe and Scientists believe we are facing the imminent threat of an ELE (Extinction Level Event) that could happen as early as November 2013. This is estimated to be worse than us dropping several nuclear bombs. (See attached link) In my humbly submitted opinion, Christians and God-fearing people (of which I have been my whole life) who know more about their Holy Book, argue their doctrine, and who govern their lives by what their pastor or spiritual leader says, and who spend all their time in churches, synagogues, and mosques have wasted time, gifts, and talent producing very little. We have not developed ourselves individually and maximized our full potential so that we could make valuable contributions according to what Our God commissioned in the beginning (Bible readers GENESIS) as we occupy space and time on OUR PLANET. It is not my intent to offend anyone, but if you look back over your life and see where youve invested most of your time, energy and effort and see how that contributes to the overall wellness condition of the people and of the planet, youd probably realize that you could have done more. Lets start by loving ourselves a little better, then each other, and then loving this wonderful resource we have as a planet and hope that its not too late ~ Kerm
