I was invited a few months back to speak to a Mens Group this morning at Edgewood United Methodist Church, it was an honor to hang out with them this morning before all the kids games and the breakfast was very good. Most of all I really enjoyed meeting and talking with Don. Here is the video of the Devotional he gave this morning that I really truly enjoyed. Don has lived an amazing life of service to mankind, and the average age of the group if I had to guess was over 75. Don was / is a distance Runner and while running one morning this summer, a driver struck him and took off, leaving him crushed and bruised in the road. He has made a remarkable physical recovery, lots more metal in his body than he had before, but This man and the group he leads are a wealth of knowledge, experience, passion and fire and I so enjoyed the time I spent with them this morning, I hope they invite me back, I recorded my talk, but chose to delete it so I had room for the football and soccer game films of my kids this morning as I didnt bring an extra memory card. So much for being #Ready , plus, what Don had to say was much more important and he did it in a fraction of the time. I hope I am half the man this guy is, I hope I live my life and finish well, Don really knows what it means to #BeEpic
