I was invited to speak at the National Convention of Global - TopicsExpress

I was invited to speak at the National Convention of Global Evangelical Church, yesterday 28 Nov. I spoke on How far has the Holy Spirit led you?, based on the theme of the convention, Knowing God, the Holy Spirit. From Ezekiel 47:1-12, I showed that there are stages in the Christian Journey. First, is the ankle stage. This is considered as salvation, which brings about, among other things, forgiveness of sin, joy of being a child of God, and member of the kingdom of God. Spiritual gifts also operate at this stage. Second, is knee stage, which is linked to praying. This is the stage where the person often communicates with his Maker to know Him and His will well. Third, is the waist stage, which is symbolically surrendering all pleasures to the Lord and thereby being productive. The fourth is the swimming stage, which shows total surrender to the Lord. Here the Lord can use such person to fulfill very critical aspects of His WILL including being ridiculed and being partaker of His suffering in order for His WILL to be accomplished. Being at one stage does not depend upon the number of years one has been in Christ, but a persons surrender to the Spirit. One can be at one stage today and later drops down to another. Examine yourself to find out where you are now--ankle, knee, waist or swimming stage?
