I was invited today by the Commission for Public Administration and the Commission for Environmental Issues of the Senate of Romania to support the draft law for recognizing dolphins as non-human persons. This draft law is supported by many people and NGOs, including Mr. Louie Psihoyos the winner of the Oscar Award for the documentary The Cove, and PETA Germany. Ive been there together with Princess Brianna Caradja, a well known activist for both human and animal rights. The Romanian media was very interested in this topic. This picture was taken after the debate in the Commission for Environmental Issues. Astazi, la Comisia de administratie publica si administrarea teritoriului, dar si la Comisia de Mediu din Senatul Romaniei, am fost invitat sa sustin proiectul privind recunoasterea delfinilor drept persoane non-umane. Acest proiect este sustinut de cat numeroase persoane si ONG-uri, printre care dl. Louie Psihoyos, laureatul Premiului Oscar pentru documentarul The Cove, si PETA Germania. Am fost insotit de Printesa Brianna Caradja, o cunoscuta activista pentru drepturile omului, dar si pentru drepturile animalelor. Presa romaneasca a fost foarte interesata in acest subiect. Aceasta fotografie a fost facuta dupa dezbaterea de la Comisia de Mediu.
