I was jogging back to my truck from this seniors complex I was working beside this morning. I got to the down ramp and my legs started going faster than they ever have in my life! Last I checked this 62, 250 pound frame didnt come equipped with brakes! Even if I did have brakes and used them my ass woulda probably came crashing through the back of my head! Just as I near the bottom this car pulls out in front of me. The older lady sees me coming, her eyes get as big as saucers, then she panics and stops! I closed my eyes and waited the 1 second for impact. My knee hit the passenger side fender and I landed on the asphalt on the drivers side if the car. The older lady is fine, her 1996 honda accord is definitely a write off. She was very nice about it and wanted me to come inside for cookies and milk. The crowd of cane wielding seniors that quickly gathered werent so friendly! They started yelling that I was going to fast and that I didnt yield at the bottom. They made me give my license information, one dum dum even wanted my registration. I do thank the one sympathetic guy on the electric scooter who went and grabbed a tensor bandage out of my truck then gave me a lift back to it. What a shitty start to my day! Pretty sure Im gonna fight this one in court!
