I was just appointed President of the Norcal Cali Spit Club, which is an organization founded by Robert Harris. We are looking for artists to join and be a part of this movement. The Cali Spit Club is a place for established, up and coming, innovative, or just plain dope lyricists, spoken word artists, and producers. Since we are in the embryonic stage of the Club, we are asking you to submit 16 BARS to [email protected] or go to our contact us page to submit 16BARS. You can spit over any instrumentals you want. In the near future we will post an area for producers to submit their beats so members can chose to use them for their submissions. Since we will not judge you ourselves (at least in the context of earning membersh ip), we will randomly ask MCs or Hip Hop enthusiasts to judge your talent. Remember to spit substance, because if it doesnt make sense, we will notify you to submit again. If its longer than 16 BARS, your submission will automatically be discarded. As we grow in membership, we will forward all new submissions to the membership. You will then require 75% approval for admission. BUT WAIT, THERES MORE.... The sites the beginning. The Club is going to be a place to network with other lyricists, producers, musicians, singers, management, or other Hip Hop related individuals or entities. It will be a place to barter, trade, sell, and advertise your personal brand. With the power of a grassroots movement, the internet, and word of mouth, your affiliation with the Cali Spit Club will be beneficial to your Hip Hop career.
