I was just at Circle K by my house and there were 4 guys, all there separately, talking as loud as they could about Alabama and Auburns bowl games. It was the sweetest thing Id ever seen. Each congratulating each other on a good season, 2 were Bama and 2 were Auburn, and saying we have the best conference in college football (Maybe overall but not in bowl games) They all agreed that the SEC was just letting Ohio or Oregon borrow it this year and one of us would have it back next year. The Bama guy congratulated one of the Auburn guys on a great hire for defensive coordinator Wes Moosechomp (thats what it sounded like) They gave each other their Roll Tides and War Eagles on the way out and I couldnt help but imagine how that conversation might have gone if either one had won. I guess when you both lose theres not a lot of smack talking to be done other than your pure hatred for another team. But it did almost bring a tear to my eye. I even got a War Eagle finally using my debit card. Theres always next year one of them said on the way out. Yes there is and I cant wait for it to get here.
