I was just at the Oppenheimer camp and the feeling from the campers is some are ready and willing to make a stand against the court ordered injunction and some have already made arrangements to seek out the shelters or other living situations. Im encouraging everyone that has shown an interest in supporting the homeless to come down to Oppenheimer camp, tent city 9:30 in the evening and bring your recording devices and the injunction will be enforced. I spoke with both police and fire department and asked what they expect to run into Wednesday evening 10:00 when the injunction comes into affect. Police want a peaceful resolve but given the circumstances the campers that want to make a stand will run into legal issues and will likely be arrested. If you come down to witness make sure that you do not get in the way of the police and fire department as you will be subject to arrest. If you are going with the intent on doing what you can to protect the campers from any sort of police aggressive behaviour please know you will be taking this kind of stance as an individual and this is a choice you make. Be safe and spread the word about coming down to witness and record. If you feel the need to witness here is a tip you may want to consider. If you have a reflective vest write on it that you are there as a legal observer while you are recording arrests
