I was just folding my laundry when I was reminded of what a very sweet thoughtful friend did for me at Christmas time this year and I really should have told this story weeks ago. It was one of my very favorite gifts and I will remember it always... Every year on Christmas eve I give my kids one gift to open, it is the same thing every year, the only surprise is the print and style. They get pajamas ( ya I know you all are thinking woo hoo Im sure) lol Any way my girlfriend and I were talking about what have become traditions for our families during the holidays and I was telling her about my Christmas eve gifts to the kids. She looked at me and simply asked who gets yours? I laughed and said oh I dont get any it is just something I have always done for the kids and this year for the grand parents because we were spending Christmas in Montana and I want them all to have something to open that evening. We continued talking and I never thought any more about the conversation until Christmas eve rolled around and I was digging out the packages from under the tree. After I sat down to watch everyone open their presents my oldest walks up and hands me a present that said to Lisa from Santa. I knew immediately who my Santa was... And although I have thanked her I just wanted to share this with you all. For anyone who knows Trish Mannix it will probably come as no surprise because it is just the type of person she is and I am so blessed to have her as my friend. Thanks again Trish for making Christmas eve extra special this year, love ya bunches...
