I was just going to write a simple post....but this came out instead. A Holiday wish for all my padawans near and far... All the classes have finished, woodwind juries performed, the journals will hopefully not misinform., Exams will prove stressful, from these days without sleep, the students surviving, refusing to weep. Although there is solace with good friends and good food, the wish is just for the term to conclude. As all the dust settles and Moms cooking is in sight, remember your professors are fighting the fight to dot that last i and cross that last t, moving you closer to that bachelors degree. We hurt when you struggle, rejoice when you win, standing beside you through thick and thin. As you exit the campus wherever you roam, remember that here is also your home... with professors that care and friends that support, helping you put the ball into your court. My wish for you all as I deplete my red ink, is a safe, healthy break that wont end in a blink. May the reed gods show favor as you prepare for the spring, giving squeak-less response and well focused ping. As the metronomes battery finally dies, the studios Yoda will utter one final sigh.... practice all scales slowly or you surely will die. 😉 Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays everyone!
