I was just perusing my newsfeed and saw this post that a friend had posted about a video, in her words, her two cents worth. After reading and watching the video...I decided to post my 2 cents worth...because at a certain point you realize you can no longer scroll on down the page and ignore! She typed and posted: Ill be honest with ya, Im not impressed with the way these people do this song. Im not impressed with the eyebrow ring, the almost druggie, Im not real enthused look from some of the guys, one of whom sounds like a girl.. and the whole mouth thing that the black man does doesnt do a thing for this song either. Why are so many people praising the way they are singing it?? Have they never heard the way it was originally done, by the man who wrote it? I got news for ya, its not a new song... I love this song, just not by people who are trying to turn it into some kind of... well, I just dont know how to put it quite frankly. They might be able to sing, just not impressed with their look or the way they present this particular song... there ya have it, my two cents worth. You had to look really hard to find her eyebrow ring. I personally, wouldnt care if her face was plastered with eyebrow, nose or earrings AND I dont believe Gods main concern here is that either. The almost druggie...wow, what is an almost druggie and Id personally stand up and applaud an all-the-way druggie singing this and I have a huge feeling God would, too....after all He loves druggies just as much as He does me! Im not real enthused look from some of the guys...what does this even mean? one of whom sounds like a girl...Really, Crystal? Really? Who cares whether he sounds more like a guy or a girl....what matters is the words and message of the song! and the whole mouth thing that the black man does doesnt do a thing for this song either....I must admit that part cause me to chuckle a bit...you do realize that this is an A Capella version of the song, correct? You do realize that the whole mouth thing that the black man does...created the sound and music for the song...right?! Its beautiful...how boring would this would be if everything and everyone were the same! They are definitely exhibiting the gifts and talents given to them by the Lord...singing about The Lord of All Creation, The Great I Am!! I am praying that God will allow you to look past people outside appearances and not to be distracted from seeing their HEARTS!!! I am disappointed! Completely! *End of my comment on her wall* People PLEASE stop nit picking every single little stupid detail about others!! Who cares if someone has a head or even body FULL of piercings, tattoos or that their hair (via cut or color) or their clothing hold more style than your own. STOP!!! Are we really that bored that we have to dissect every blasted thing that others do or dont do!! MIND your own business, make sure YOUR walk lines up with the Will of God and then LOVE others...NO MATTER WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE, WHAT THEY WEAR, WHAT EAT, WHAT THEY DRIVE, WHAT THEY SAY, HOW THEY HOLD THEIR MOUTH WHEN THEY SING!!! If they are a druggie, LOVE THEM ANYWAY! If they sing like a girl, LOVE THEM ANYWAY!! I am sick of people thinking they are better than others...GOD LOVES US ALL! PERIOD!!
