I was just reading a post on another page and a woman was sharing her story and asked for prayer. The woman was not begging, not asking for a hand out, not even complaining, she only needed prayer. Yet one of the responses she received was, you did this to yourself, sorry. The woman in need definitely needs prayer so that she can find her way and find peace in her heart. Yet the woman who responded with such love in her heart, really needs prayer. A touch of compassion in her heart would do her good. In fact, when we are so abrupt to simply dismiss others, and let them know how all their problems is of their doing, we are attracting problems to us and with them we attract lack of compassion toward us. As a Life Coach, I know that we all play a role in our lives and we do it by our choices. Yet, how can we help others if we have no compassion? How can we reach others and provide hope, if we believe that everything others face is simply their fault? The key to helping others, is love, compassion, kindness. We get what we give.....therefore if we are quick to judge and condemn be prepared to be judged and condemned. Saying a prayer does more good than spreading venomous words.
