I was just reminded of a dream I had either last night or the night before. In the dream, I was leaving some sort of gathering, maybe a sporting event, with a bunch of other people who had attended it, and was walking on some sidewalk to get home. Then, as I was walking, I heard someone singing and playing guitar very close by. I soon saw who it was, a lady sitting on the sidewalk facing in the direction the people were coming from, but Id just passed her so I went back to see who it was. It was Sarah McLachlan, and she looked at me and smiled as she kept on performing, but strangely nobody else seemed to notice her or realize who she was. I was so happy to have the chance to meet her and see her perform up close that I was almost in tears. Thats all I remember, and maybe that was the end of the dream. What I dont get, though, is that in the past several years, my strongest positive emotions have come in dreams, not while Im awake.
