I was just sharing this with Ella Zarum...She unwittingly inspired our 12/12/12 Global Dreamcatcher! We were brand new FB friends at the time and she had just posted a beach grass braid she made that looked like sweetgrass. I found it so amazing I requested her to repost the braid and that maybe we could weave together the waters into a another braid on a Global Dreamcatcher made from seaweeds and grasses of waters of all the directions from around our planet. She said yes of course to use the idea! And so we did! She was our first. She told me she still has that seagrass braid. That was back in 2012 as is our Global Dreamcatcher....On our Global Dreamcatcher she is holding firm the waters in the northwest, as others are in other directions around this continent! Below is an old pastime of my own...My tears and Love are in the waters of my own roots in this lifetime shared below... Have you ever put seaweed in your bathtub water? I hear there is Cesium in the seaweeds on the Pacific Ocean western United States coastlines, but if otherwise.... It is enchantingly fun and so good for you! I was able to do this in the 90s when I lived in my Long Island cottage. Sentimental memory. Maybe it is not safe from the Pacific Ocean side, but what about other places? I am so sorry for the contaminations and toxicities in our waters. So sorry. But if it is safe enough in your area, I say go for it, gather and put the seaweed in your tuba nd put it all over you! I dont do this in the desert. Just an ole sentiment! I would drag alot of it home on a walking stick from the woods just before the shoreline beach sands of the Long Island Sound. Hiking with a staff of draping seaweed home or to the car is great fun. My ex-husband would make fun of me and ask me to rid of the stick of seaweed at the front door. It didnt matter. I just threw him in the tub or slathered it on him too. Tee Hee! :)
