I was just standing in line at Kroger paying for my groceries and the young lady that was checking me out looked so sad. One of her fellow employees asked her if she was ok. She first said yeah I have a headache and the other asked if she needed some motrin. Then she said, nothing worse than waking up and finding your moms not home and is in jail. Her friend was speechless. She said and then having to catch rides all over the county to get her out before work. She said yeah she was drinking and driving again and got a dui. Wow! I left the store with tears in my eyes. Parents, IF you must drink, please have a designated driver or catch a cab. The cost of a cab is much less than the money you will pay in fines and attorneys not to mention- breaking your childs heart and causing them embarrassment that they will NEVER overcome. And yeah, what if you dont get pulled over but run into a family on the way home from bowling or the movies? Your high and party time is not worth the life of an innocent person.
