I was just thinking about a story aired this morning about a successful designer, Ren Scott, who abruptly ended her life. Depression is real and dibilitating. I know firsthand, b/c I went through a very dark period of it some years ago. It was one of the hardest things I had to do to fight my way back. There are some days I feel it wanting to rear its ugly head, but I believe in a higher power....my talks with God brought me through. For some, it may take a therapist, support group, family & friends. If you are struggling with sadness, please seek help, let someone know!!! You are not weak when admitting your are dealing with depression & anxiety. This woman I mentioned appeared to have everything and secretly did not have peace & happiness. I will myself to be happy, but if life starts to overwhelm me, I call on the name......Jesus. It works for me
