I was just thinking about the period of time when the Holy Spirit was the most overwhelming in my life. I had just been delivered from years of deep, deep depression and bitterness..and I recall just running back and forth from my bedroom into my moms room like, Guess what He did now?!?! I remember telling her so excitedly that He had changed my desires from wanting to live for me and party all of the time, to wanting the same things as Him. This was a miracle in my heart and I was so excited to share this with her. I also remember running into her room and reading her poem after story after...stream of consciousness rambling after another...and saying, Mama! I did not write this! I cant write this good! What in the world is going on? as He poured out His Spirit and inspired me... It was an incredible..for lack of a better word...and pivotal period of time in my life, and I so hope that one day when God starts speaking to my kiddos in such a way, that I have loved them in the kind of way that has them running into my bedroom to exclaim His Goodness to me! So glad that on this day you were born, mama! Happy Birthday...again...lol
