I was just thinking,sitting on the porch and sitting in the swing my late hubby made,Im thankful for that homemade swing,it was sixty years ago this month he returned home from his tour in Korea,and we got engaged before August was over,went to see Gone With The Wind,that day,walked from my moms at Washington Manor,after a spaghetti lunch she made,went to the movie,walked over here to Porter Rd. and I received my ring under a dogwood tree in his moms yard,because of a death,thats the reason for his homemade swing,the dogwood tree died,among others in that sixty years,both moms are gone,his dad is gone and hes gone,so thankful for what God has given me.
