I was just thinking today about some of the local community resources I could tell people about. Weymouth is a hidden gem in South Auckland and is one of the few places left with a quiet village feel, big houses on large sections and right on the water. There is a great primary school, and Early Education Centres. There is a boat club, rowing club and Waka club all right here in the village. There are boat ramps and really good places to go fishing. Several beaches on the peninsula, all with individual character and with great views of the Manukau Harbour. Rock pools for the children to explore, and heaps of great walks to go on. There are several play parks, local dairy and take-away. There is a monthly community magazine and so much more....
