I was listening to The Voice UK 2013, on youtube, when a commercial came up. Knowing that google bought up youtube, I dont think much about the fact that there is a commercial. What got to me, was the content of the commercial; It was about continuing sanctions on Iran. The reasons that this is disturbing; the USA has had sanctions on Iran sense the 1970s, but I bet you wont find many people in America that realize this. Second, the commercial pointed out the feelings of a few Iranian Leaders, representing different spans of time sense the 1970s. Yes, those leaders were, and are hostile to The United States of America. Unfortunate that leaders mistake, politicians, and political administrations, as whole countries. The average citizen of any country is most likely not whole heartedly in for any administration. Third, the wording of this ad was definitely meant to stir (defensive) aggression; calling for action where none must be taken. These sanctions already exist, and will persist until an action of removal is instated, in other words, unless someone brings it before congress, and congress lifts the sanctions, the will stay in place. It is just disturbing.
