I was listening to a debate about Irans nuclear ambitions. A caller-the sort that refers to Israel as Izzzahhhraeehyelll stated: to make a nuclear missile you need three things. Plutonium, a rocket...and a head gasket. I took more notice. A head gasket? He went on to mention head gaskets three or four more times. Possibly he meant a war head but he definitely said head gasket. The presenter let him rant on. Now when I first started motoring the dreaded head gasket, according to my Dad, was the worst possible thing that could go wrong with a car. Even if I got a parking ticket he blamed it on the head gasket. Fellow motorists, could the head gasket of an intercontinental ballistic missile be more important than I realised?
