I was looking for a quote, a picture, a verse...something to sum up what it feels like to see a child this medically fragile turn 12 today. I couldnt find anything anywhere and couldnt even find the words within me. Then I stumbled across a simple FB post from a soul sister of mine, Justine. Her words were simple and perfect. What an absolute privilege it is to be alive! Today we celebrate Madisons 12th birthday and we stand in amazement and awe of her strength and determination to LIVE and prosper. With hearts full of gratitude, spirits full of love, we know today, her birthday, like all of her days, will be awesome!
