I was looking over the annual report for the Fulton County Sheriffs Office and I was highly upset when I saw they left out one of their constitutional duties. The Sheriff is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the County. I am tired of these Metro Atlanta Sheriffs acting like department heads. You are not a department head, you are a constitutional officer. Sheriff Victor Hill gave Metro Atlanta a much needed education on this. As Sheriff, you dont need permission. Fulton County needs a rough, ready, ass kicking and unapologetic sheriff to get this county back into shape. The county police department nor the agencies of the cities are supposed to tell the sheriff to take a back seat. All of the county is the Sheriffs business and I expect nothing less. I am expecting these candidates from Charles Rambo, Fulton-County Sheriff Candidate and Richard Lankford to exhibit and demonstrate this behavior. The Sheriff is a LAW ENFORCER not a SECURITY GUARD! Lets show them how its done. We dont need permission to police!
