I was merely a casual fan of music until I was 15 when my brother gave me a few CDs to start my musical journey. That summer I went on a road trip to Florida with my family. I hid in the back of the huge suburban with my discman listening to REMs Out of Time, Beatles For Sale, Velvet Crush, Wire Train, and Material Issue. I soon realized that the greatest escape from the trials and anxieties of youth was music. I never thought that some 25 years later I would have helped write and record 6 full length records and 100s of other songs with my brothers, including recording and producing a handful of other musicians music. I am not sure what my life would have been like without making and loving music. I am not sure if I have ever thanked my brothers for letting me in their band all those years ago. So today I am officially thanking Mike Braam and Thomas Braam for gifting me a life of music. I love you guys. Rock on!
