I was nine or ten when something on the local PBS station caught my eye. Then my ears. Tongue. By the time it wrenched my brain from its stem Monty Python had already seized control of my nascent ability to perceive the world around me and begun barking out its ridiculous contradictions. It was one of those moments younger humans tend to get - the dancer becomes the dance undanced, the architect, buildings unbuilt - and I - I had become - distracted. I blame these men. In honor of their reunion - heres the bit I caught and which ruined my ability to navigate the beige, droning meaningless nightmare of existence without laughing in its evil, fangy, face wit sharp little teeth...
