I was no particular Robin Williams fan. I pay very little - TopicsExpress

I was no particular Robin Williams fan. I pay very little attention to show business as it holds little interest for me. I remember him as Mork more than anything else because to the best of my recollection, I never saw one of his movies. I was moved by his recent death, but no more moved than I am by anyone elses. It is said that Williams was an atheist. Anybody whos ever heard me preach knows that I do not believe in the existence of an atheist. There is no such thing. I dont know where this fellow is now, but I know hes SOMEwhere. Apparently, he was a gifted man, and well-to-do as well. Neither of those attributes counts for one thing insofar as his eternal destiny. Where Robin Williams is today is tied entirely to what he did with and about The Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I would like to think that he asked The Lord to save him somewhere along the way, but that isnt my call. What I do know is that a nanu-nanu second after he exhaled his final breath, he was made aware of a Man who died to pay the penalty for his sins. Did he bow the knee before he died? I dont know. Every knee shall bow, whether this side of eternity or the other. I dont recommend waiting until after death. Itll be too late.
