I was nominated by Dauphin fire fighter and one of my former grooms, Cody Langlois for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. My brother Daniel and father-in-law Kevin may have not have soaked me quite as much as I was hoping, but Im confident I got wetter then Cody did! In any case, as the video states (and for good reason) I nominate fellow Wedding Entertainment Directors Glenn Mackay from Australia (he has no idea what winter is, this is the closest hell get for a while) and Aldo Ryan cause hes got an amazing heart and I know he loves a good time and loves helping out. Also, because a former groom of mine nominated me, I thought Id choose a fun groom that I worked with this past summer and that guy ended up being Tyler Nistor (married to Erica at an amazing wedding this past June). As for the call out I make in the video to my father-in-law Kevin, hes told me hell donate in place of doing the challenge. And in memory of our amazingly inspirational late friend Joe Mehan, Kathryn & I will also be donating to help the research behind causes, treatments and cures for ALS.
