I was nominated by Zachary Trail to do the ice bucket challenge! ALS is a horrible disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that causes those who have it to lose all control of voluntary muscle movement. At this time there is no cure and treatments are very limited. As of last night there has been more than $53 million in donations to the ALS association! In addition to getting ice old water dumped on my head I donated to this cause and now I challenge Jane Palmer Mann, Amanda Dia, and Tyler Withrow to do the same!
