I was nominated for the ALS ice bucket challenge by Janean Nass. I nominate Matthew James , RoseCatherine James, Cheryl Curtis Taylor and Britty Mccabe! The ice bucket challenge has recently come under attack by some individuals because one of the primary donation recipients (the ALSA) participates in embryonic stem cell research. The ice bucket challenge is to raise awareness for ALS, a disorder also known as Lou Gehrigs disease. There are many other foundations out there that support ALS research without participating in embryonic stem cell research. If your beliefs and conscience will not allow you to support the ALSA because of their research then a little searching will provide many different foundations that would meet your support standards. Please do not turn your back on a cause that needs our support simply because you believe there is only one sponsor. Thank you!
