I was not a huge Animal House fan but did see it several times. It is, after all, a classic! As I began discussing the infamous zit scene with some of my IB Film students, I was met with blank stares and some awkward chuckles. You know the kind teens do when they are humoring the elderly. However, I soldiered on........John Belushi, I said. You all know him, right? Again, that somewhat maniacal grin and cutting of the eyes. Come on, yall! Belushi? Great comic....overdosed......? Blank expressions--rest assured these are not unintelligent, poorly read kids! I imitated the famous youre a P-I-G pig! line. Still nothing......well you get the picture.....I was SAD!
