I was off for a little while but I am back. My church sign calendar today says: Every saint has a past. Every sinner has a future. God says: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 1 John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Every human that walked on this earth has sinned and fallen short of Gods perfection with the exception of Jesus (who is of God). So we all stand in judgment and are in need of forgiveness. Psalm 25:7 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! God provided us a way to come to Him even in our imperfect form. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Live everyday with the joy in knowing that you have this special gift that can never be taken away as long as your faith remains strong in Jesus. But God does challenge us not to be complacent. Who will tell the next generation asks the Lord? Joel 1:3 Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation. Psalm 78:4 We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.
