I was on my tractor yesterday cutting my pasture, when a red coyote or red wolf came out of nowhere chasing my dog Millie across the pasture. Omg, I nearly stroked! I yelled and the coyote/wolf veered off towards my wooded area. Millie made it safely to the barn. I was a wreck afterwards b/c there had been 2 of my dogs playing at the pond, Millie and Greta, but only one was accounted for. I searched for over an hour with no luck. I went up to the house to check on Millie and told her I needed help finding her pal Greta. A few minutes later I had returned to my barn to feed my horses. As I was leaving the barn I seen Millie in the pasture standing there looking at me and then towards some heavy brush along a stream. I called out to her telling her I was on my way to help her search for her friend. I got half way to her when from the brush out steps Greta. I was so relieved both my dogs were alive and well. Greta must have hid until Millie returned to let her know it was safe for her to come out of hiding.
